Chapter Philanthropy

"To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand". The very first line of our creed and one line that the sisters of our chapter strive to practice as often as we can. Our sisters are very passionate about selfless acts and giving back not only to our National Philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, but to our local community as well. Our two local philanthropy are Olivia's House and Heavenly Paws.  Olivia's House is a grief and loss center for children.  Once a year Olivia's House hosts their gala; where a few sisters help volunteer at.  Heavenly Paws is our other local philanthropy; this is a non-profit organization.  At Heavenly Paws, you can either volunteer to play with the cats or adopt one.  Our sisters go to Heavenly Paws once a week to help volunteer and play with the cats. Also, once a year we host an event on campus called "Cats on Campus" where students will come to play with the cats and the money that is raised from this event goes to Heavenly Paws.  One of the most rewarding aspects of being a sister of Phi Mu is helping out those in need and doing good for the community.

All of these activities are fun for our sisters and go towards a great cause! If there are any questions, please contact Katherine Papalia.
