Scholarship

The sisters of Phi Mu Phi Eta hold themselves to a higher standard for academics. We require that sisters maintain a 2.75 GPA to remain in good standing with the chapter. Our sisterhood works extremely hard to find new ways to improve our overall GPA!

One of the many benefits of a college campus is being offered a plethora of academic resources, but sometimes the best resources are your sisters. With such a diverse group of women and majors within our chapter, it is easy to find sisters in your classes or at least in your major that you can study with or ask for help! You can always find a group of Phi Mu sisters in the library or in humanities working on homework or studying.

Phi Mu Foundation has a long tradition of providing scholarships to deserving Phi Mu undergraduates and graduates. The minimum requirement is a 3.0 grade point average. There are both merit and financial need scholarships.  Applicants are scored in several categories: academic, involvement (Phi Mu/campus/community), financial need, personal statements, and recommendations.  Each year, the Foundation awards over 100 scholarships ranging from $200 to $5,000.

In addition to financial scholarships, Phi Mu recognizes outstanding academic achievement through the Ada Martin Henry Scholarship Charm Program.  Charms and certificates are awarded to undergraduate women who achieve a 4.0 GPA during any given semester.
